What We Do

At the heart of Singleton Moms is an over-arching vision of inspiring and changing the lives of those who both receive and give support. This ideal will be carried out by managing an organization which will be fiscally responsible and will utilize volunteers who will be excited and proud to be associated with the project. Accordingly, one-on-one relationships between the families receiving services and the provider of those services will be fostered.

Forms of assistance

During our first meeting, mothers fill out a profile indicating what assistance would be most valuable to them. We then assign a team of 3-4 volunteers to them for the duration of assistance. After treatment protocol has been met each mother’s assistance is evaluated and on an individual basis further assistance may be granted.

Forms of assistance are as follows:

Financial Assistance: Donations are kindly excepted so that we may be able to continue with this important work in the community. Currently, we have the ability to help with small utilities and medical co-pays.

Weekly dinners: Prepared meals are dropped of at the home one to two times a week. Through their profile a mom is able to fill us in regarding any food allergies someone in the home may have, as well as, telling us about their families favorite meals.

House cleaning: Teams of two to three volunteers are available to help clean the mom’s home on a bi-weekly or monthly basis. In some cases, we may call in a professional cleaning service.

We will always attempt to meet any other needs that arise such as transportation, baby sitting, grocery shopping, etc.

Please contact us if you are in need of assistance or would like to become a volunteer.
