Our Mission
Singleton Moms is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing hope, help and support to struggling single parents battling cancer. Our unique programs offer the emotional, financial and domestic support that these courageous moms and dads need while undergoing treatment.
No other aid-based organization tackles the challenges of daily living faced by single parents with cancer. Singleton Moms was established by two women who watched their childhood friend succumb to this dreaded disease. A single mother who left four young children at her passing, Michelle Singleton gallantly fought her medical battle while still serving others.
Join us in helping build Singleton Moms into an organization that can reach out and touch the thousands of single parents with cancer currently living in the Phoenix, Arizona area.

Incidence of Cancer Among Single Parents in Arizona (as of 2009)
In the 2009 BRFS survey*, 3.4% of the respondents were single parents that had been diagnosed in the past with cancer. This translates into 17,157 persons in Arizona in that year.
If you put a 95 percent confidence bound on the percentage (a standard confidence level is used because a survey represents only an approximate number of persons), you have somewhere between 1.04% - 5.7% respondents whom are single adults with children. These percentages translate into somewhere between 5,248 and 28,763 Arizonans with cancer who are single adults with minor children.
