Become a Care Coordinator

Care Coordinator with MomTo continue aiding in our moms recovery, Singleton Moms strives to ensure a stress free environment while providing them with our support. The following guidelines, for Care Teams, have been created with our mom’s privacy and overall well-being in mind.

Care Teams must have one Care Team Coordinator from each participating group. This person will be the individual in direct contact with both the adopted mom and Care Director Singleton Moms Care Coordinator.

Care Coordinators will be in direct contact with their mom. However, any visits in addition to meal drop offs and Michelle’s Clean-Up Crew events must be approved by Singleton Moms Care Coordinator.

Any monetary donations that a Team Coordinator may collect must go through the organization and may never be given directly to an adopted mom.

Considering becoming a Care Team Coordinator? Here are some frequently asked questions about the Care Team Coordinators.

What is a Care Team Coordinator?
A Care Coordinator is the head of a Care Team. The coordinator will be the liaison between the “mom”, Singleton Moms and the rest of their Care Team.

What are the Care Team Coordinators responsibilities?
It is their responsibility to build a Care Team by recruiting their family, friends and co-workers. Singleton Moms will put out a call to their database looking for volunteers to join these teams. This coordinator will direct their team by arranging Michelle’s Clean-up Crew days, meal drop offs and check in with their “mom” by phone, once a week, regarding her over all well-being. After which time, you will report any necessary information back to Singleton Moms Care Coordinator, Andy Royal.

How many hours a month can I expect to spend as a Team Coordinator?
A typical month’s time line will look like;
  • 10-15 minutes a week spent speaking with your “mom” on the phone.
  • Approximately, half an hour a week will be spent sending out emails to your team coordinating your “moms” needs, such as a meal drop off.
  • Lastly, if your “mom” wants the service, 2 hours a month will be spent hosting a Michelle’s Clean-Up Crew.
