How did you find out about Singleton Moms?
I read a small feature article in the Chandler Tribune several years ago (2006) about the good work Singleton Moms was doing to offer assistance for single moms battling cancer.

What do you like most about volunteering for Singleton Moms?
Spending meaningful time together with my daughter. Being part of a group of others who are all there supporting a person who is most likely struggling through the worst time of their life. With many of the Singleton Moms projects you are right there where the love and assistance is occurring. You get to see it, touch it and feel it.
What would you say to people who are thinking about volunteering with Singleton Moms?
Be prepared for: meeting some wonderful loving volunteers from all walks of life, some shocking situations, getting dirty, meeting some very courageous fighters and survivors, hearing their heartwarming and sometimes heartbreaking stories, learning things about yourself, leaving the scene at the end of your project knowing the little thing that you just did for a few hours was something huge for somebody else.
What do you do when you are not volunteering with Singleton Moms?
When not keeping my full charge bookkeeping company running, I love to spend time with my husband and daughter, cooking, walking my dogs, reading, hiking throughout America's fabulous national parks and traveling abroad.
