Michelle's Circle

Singleton Moms is continuously seeking caring volunteers to become part of Michelle’s Circle.  By donating their time, talents and hearts our volunteers can make a difference in the lives of single mothers diagnosed with cancer in the Greater Phoenix area.  Areas of service include prepared meals, housecleaning, transportation, counseling and financial assistance. The organization also looks for enthusiastic committee members who enjoy helping with event planning, fundraising, and administrative duties.

How Can I Help

To become a Michelle’s Circle volunteer please complete our Volunteer Form. When volunteer opportunities become available, you will be notified via email. You can register for the opportunity by responding to the initial email; once all RSVPs are received, further details will be made available to those who can help.

We can’t wait to meet you!

How did you find out about Singleton Moms?

I read a small feature article in the Chandler Tribune several years ago (2006) about the good work Singleton Moms was doing to offer assistance for single moms battling cancer.

What do you like most about volunteering for Singleton Moms?

Spending meaningful time together with my daughter. Being part of a group of others who are all there supporting a person who is most likely struggling through the worst time of their life. With many of the Singleton Moms projects you are right there where the love and assistance is occurring. You get to see it, touch it and feel it.

What would you say to people who are thinking about volunteering with Singleton Moms?

Be prepared for: meeting some wonderful loving volunteers from all walks of life, some shocking situations, getting dirty, meeting some very courageous fighters and survivors, hearing their heartwarming and sometimes heartbreaking stories, learning things about yourself, leaving the scene at the end of your project knowing the little thing that you just did for a few hours was something huge for somebody else.

What do you do when you are not volunteering with Singleton Moms?

When not keeping my full charge bookkeeping company running, I love to spend time with my husband and daughter, cooking, walking my dogs, reading, hiking throughout America's fabulous national parks and traveling abroad.
